CannabinoidsTargeted benefits

Most people think a cannabinoid does one thing. The reality is more interesting.

Think of each cannabinoid as a volume control rather than an on/off switch. The same plant offers a spectrum of effects, and the right one depends on how you want to feel. LEVEL isolates and standardizes each one so you can dial in calm, clarity, sleep, physical ease, or energy with precision. Different lanes, not a ranking.

CBG

Supports a clear, grounded headspace without a drowsy edge. A daytime cannabinoid for settling a busy mind and staying present through high-pressure stretches.

EvidenceFirst placebo-controlled human CBG trial showed a significant resting-heart-rate reduction in afternoon dosers. (early research, individual responses vary)

CBN

Nighttime wind-down

CBN

Formulated as the support to minimize awakening in the middle of the night and help you settle back down. NIGHTTIME Tablingual works fast and sublingually; Sleep Protab is the pre-bed, full-night formulation.

EvidenceIn a 29-day study of the Sleep Protab (n=157), participants were 227% more likely to wake refreshed and averaged 41 more minutes of sleep per night by day 29. (specific to the Sleep Protab formulation, not CBN alone)

CBDa

The raw, acidic form of CBD found in the living plant. Supports foundational, everyday balance and sits alongside CBD as a base-layer cannabinoid rather than a targeted one.

The entourage effect

How cannabinoids work together

You will often hear that cannabinoids work better together than alone. That idea has a name, the entourage effect, and it shapes how LEVEL formulates. The thinking is that different compounds in hemp can modulate one another, so a thoughtful combination produces a fuller, more rounded result than any single cannabinoid on its own. CBD sets a steady foundation. An emergent cannabinoid like CBG or CBN points that foundation toward a more specific outcome.

The science is still early, and the entourage effect is best described as a well-supported hypothesis rather than a settled fact. What is clear is the logic: different cannabinoids engage different receptors and pathways, so combining them widens the range of signals your system can respond to. That is why LEVEL builds multi-cannabinoid formulations in deliberate ratios, and why a consistent routine tends to do more than a bigger dose of any one cannabinoid.

The endocannabinoid system

What is the endocannabinoid system

Your body already makes its own cannabinoids. They act on a network of receptors called the endocannabinoid system, or ECS, that helps the body stay in balance. The same network is the backdrop for how plant cannabinoids are studied.

The receptors are not evenly spread. CB1 receptors cluster in the brain and nervous system; CB2 receptors sit more throughout the body and immune tissue. That spread is part of why a single plant can touch so many different signals, and why thoughtful combinations are interesting.

Plant cannabinoids are studied against this backdrop. CBD, for example, does not lock directly onto CB1 the way some compounds do; instead it appears to influence the system more indirectly, which is one reason it is associated with balance rather than intoxication. Cannabinoids like CBG and CBN interact with these pathways in their own ways. The takeaway is not that any single cannabinoid controls the ECS, but that the endocannabinoid system gives hemp compounds a wide, interconnected surface to act on, which is why targeted formulations and consistent routines tend to matter more than a single large dose.

Questions

The basics, answered.

CBD is one cannabinoid. Cannabinoid is the broader category, the family of compounds found in hemp that includes CBD along with CBG, CBN, CBDa, CBC, THCa, THCv, and many others. CBD is simply the most-researched non-intoxicating member of that family.

The hemp-derived cannabinoids in LEVEL tablets are federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, which permits hemp products containing no more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight. State laws vary, so local rules can differ from federal law.

Standard drug tests typically screen for THC, not for cannabinoids like CBD, CBG, or CBN. Because hemp products can contain trace amounts of THC within the legal limit, LEVEL cannot guarantee a particular test result. If a drug test is a concern, factor that in before use.

The cannabinoids in LEVEL tablets are non-intoxicating and will not produce a high. They are formulated for clear, functional effects, with no more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight in compliance with the 2018 Farm Bill.
